Malham Cove

Onto the Yorkshire Dales, and a trip to Malham Cove. Firstly, it’s a really beautiful place. The say I went, it was glorious weather and the place was packed.

This is the spot used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, which Harry and Hermione use as one of their hiding spots. I tried to use the limestone pavement as foreground interest. I think it came out OK, although now I would have used a bigger f-stop number to make sure everything was perfectly in focus.
