Bokeh – the Malvern Hills

I guess the first thing that we all do when starting off is try a little bit of everything, isn’t it? Along with long exposures, the thing you pick up quickly from YouTube vloggers is about bokeh – essentially adjusting your camera’s aperture settings to push backgrounds out of focus for effect in images.

So, on a trip to the Malvern Hills, I grabbed the shot below shooting up to British Camp. It’s simply but I’m quite happy with it. I was also trying to play with composition and using the path on the right as a kind of leading line up to the top of the image.

Malvern Hills 1Settings: 65mm – f/5.6 – ISO100 – 1/1000secs. No filter.
